SHARING TRAVEL STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Hej from Copenhagen! It is definitely looking a lot like Christmas around here. The Danish capital does it up right with lights on every lane and events and festivities all season long. We’ll do one more Faraway Files this year, next week Corey from Fifi + Hop will host and then we’ll take a break until the New Year. So lay your links on us now!

The Faraway Files team has other news to share as well. Please send a warm thank you and Faraway Files farewell to one of our first hosts, Katy from Untold Morsels. You can still find Katy on all of her regular channels as well as her new fabulous resource for all those planning travel to Italy. Check out her Italy Travel Planning Group on Facebook for a bevy of information, itineraries and ideas. Thanks for everything Katy! Cheers from here!

And to the rest of the Faraway Files community, wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season however you celebrate. Sending light and love around the world. As they say in Denmark, Glædelig Jul and Godt Nytår! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Catch you on the flip side! Bring on 2019.

FARAWAY FILES TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY LINKUP #103
WANT TO JOIN IN?

Jump in! The water is fine! Faraway Files is a creative community of travel bloggers who inspire, engage and share each other’s posts. All participating hosts will read and comment on every post that participates in the spirit of the link up. We will also share them on social media too. Each week we’ll choose our favorite posts and highlight them on our blogs and social media channels using #FarawayFiles.

HOW IT WORKS:
  • Link up one travel-related post and add the Faraway Files badge onto the post or your blog (code below) or link back to the hosts.
  • The link-up will go live every Thursday at 8 am UK time (9 am, CET) until midnight on Friday. It will alternate between Fifi + Hop, Hilary Style, Oregon Girl Around the World and Suitcases and Sandcastles. Check Twitter #FarawayFiles to confirm who is hosting each week.
  • Link ups work best if everyone engages so please comment on each of the hosts’ posts and at least two others that take your fancy.
