Work With Me

Welcome! Velkommen! Bienvenue! Cheers!

I’m happy you found my little corner of the internet. Oregon Girl Around the World is a travel and lifestyle blog with a focus on sustainable travel for the whole family. I seek out experiences that allow us to immerse in a local culture. Taste the food. Smørrebrød in Copenhagen. Tapas in Madrid. The best chippy in Liverpool. Banana Donuts in Honduras. Herrings in the Netherlands. Meet the people. Learn about the culture.

I firmly believe that sustainable tourism doesn’t have to mean making sacrifices, and hope to offer choices and opportunities where we can lessen our carbon footprints and leave positive impacts on the environments and communities we seek to explore. From seeing what’s fresh at the local market to supporting local businesses and regionally run cultural experiences, there are so many ways to keep travel sustainable.

With a background in art and graphic design, I try to offer a creative way of seeing each new destination. Through storytelling and beautiful imagery, I want to take you around the world. Currently, I am exploring Scandinavia and beyond from home in Copenhagen, Denmark.
