Hello. I am so amazed to see this picture! After my wife and I were married for some time we were both going through our photo albums from before we were married. We discovered that we both had a picture of ourselves taken by this rock! I would like to surprise her and take her there for our anniversary so we can get a picture of both of us together there. Can you tell me how to get there?!
This balanced rock is in Bryce Canyon National Park, but there is a similar but much more famous one in Arches National Park. Do you know that the pictures are from Bryce specifically?
Yes, I’m sure it was Bryce. This rock is identical to pictures we have. Although, funny, she took her picture from one side of it and my picture is from the other! Our personalities are like that too! I’ve searched through hundreds of pictures and I can’t figure out what trail it is on or how to get there.

Ok – so I am pretty confident that this rock is on the Navajo Loop Trail that begins at Sunset Point not far from the Visitor’s Center of Bryce Canyon National Park. The trail descends to the canyon floor through the stunning Wall Street section and then back up to Sunset Point. The balanced rock should be between the end of Wall Street and the Two Bridges on the return hike up. I hope you find it! Please let me know if you do! Bryce Canyon and Southern Utah rocks!
