SHARING TRAVEL STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Hej from Copenhagen travel friends. That’s Danish for hi! Being that it is Thursday, it’s time to talk travel again. Been somewhere? Going somewhere? We’re heading back to one of our favorite little Danish villages this weekend and hope to see a different side of Faaborg on the island of Fyn with the brilliant weather we’ve been having here in Denmark. It has been absolutely delightful. Bluebird skies and lots of sunshine in the sky. When in Denmark, that means getting outside as much as possible and soaking up all that Vitamin D. We’ve got to top up our stores this time of year. I’ll toast to that! But first, a cheers to my favorite posts from the Faraway Files Travel Blog Community who linked up last week.

FAVORITES FROM FARAWAY FILES #79

Annette from Four Acorns knows how to enjoy the outdoors with her gang of littles. She shared a lovely weekend with tents in the trees and tipis and wild swimming and pancakes on the open fire. Annette will inspire you to get outside. Especially in Ireland!

Are you a fan of fireworks? Crazy spinning shooting fireworks running and dancing through the streets? I think I might be. Don’t judge me. But the Catalan El Corrofoc celebration in Barcelona looks like something I need to see. Thanks to Jessica at The Seasoned Travelr for sharing this amazing fête!

And finally, Janis and Gary from Our World for You take us on another leg of their stunning Icelandic road trip. This time with Northern Lights. I know it’s not very summery, but still. The Aurora wows me every time. Check out their amazing pictures of this surreal and beautiful landscape.

This week I’d like to raise a glass to all of the Faraway Files community who has contributed, commented and shared the wonderful posts we have enjoyed for 80 weeks! Holy wow. Time to celebrate indeed. Let’s go to one of these places in Copenhagen ok? I’m sharing the best places to get a drink outside in the city this summer. As we say in Scandinavia – skål!

FARAWAY FILES TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY LINKUP #80

WANT TO JOIN IN?

Jump in! The water is fine! Faraway Files is a creative community of travel bloggers who inspire, engage and share each other’s posts. All participating hosts will read and comment on every post that participates in the spirit of the link up. We will also share them on social media too. Each week we’ll choose our favorite posts and highlight them on our blogs and social media channels using #FarawayFiles.

HOW IT WORKS:
  • Link up one travel-related post and add the Faraway Files badge onto the post or your blog (code below) or link back to the hosts.
  • The link-up will go live every Thursday at 8 am UK time (9 am, CET) until midnight on Friday. It will alternate between Fifi + Hop, Hilary Style, Oregon Girl Around the World, Suitcases and Sandcastles, and Untold Morsels. Check Twitter #FarawayFiles to confirm who is hosting each week.
  • Link ups work best if everyone engages so please comment on each of the hosts’ posts and at least two others that take your fancy.
