Faraway Files #33

TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY

THIRTY-THREE weeks of Sharing travel stories around the world

It’s almost here. Summer holiday! Or summer vacation as we call in the States. One more week of school for my kids and then we’re off to the Danish island of Bornholm for beautiful beaches, bicycling and bit of nature. What are your summer plans – do you have them all settled?

Are you a plan months in advance and line it all up kind or do you leave some room for summer spontaneity? I’m a little of both. Tell me where you’re off to if you know!

We’re all going on a summer holiday
No more working for a week or two.
Fun and laughter on our summer holiday,
No more worries for me or you,
For a week or two.
We’re going where the sun shines brightly
We’re going where the sea is blue.
We’ve all seen it on the movies,
Now let’s see if it’s true.
Everybody has a summer holiday
Doin’ things they always wanted to
So we’re going on a summer holiday,
To make our dreams come true
For me and you.
For me and you.”

FARAWAY FILES TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY LINKUP #33
WANT TO JOIN IN?

We’d love you to join us in building this supportive and growing community who will inspire and share each other’s posts. All three hosts will try to read and comment on every post and we’ll share them on social media too. Each week we’ll choose our favorites and highlight them on our blogs and social media channels using #FarawayFiles.

HOW IT WORKS:
  • Link up one travel-related post and add the Faraway Files badge onto the post or your blog (code below) or link back to the hosts.
  • The link up will go live every Thursday at 8 am UK time (9 am, CET) until midnight on Friday. It will alternate between Untold Morsels, Suitcases and Sandcastles, and Oregon Girl around the World.
  • Link ups work best if everyone shares so please comment on all three of the hosts’ posts and at least two others.
