TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY
OH THE PLACES YOU’LL GO
Welcome back travelers, doers, believers. Welcome to you wanderluster, dreamer and planner. Let’s go somewhere today. Maybe it’s from the comfort of your desk. Maybe it’s from a faraway place. Where? Where? Do tell – I want to know!
I’m here in Copenhagen, planning and pining. Heading to the coast soon. The Danish coast. Need a little getaway. Sharing a bit about the seaside for this week’s travel blog link up.
FAVORITES WEEK #20
Last week I put a call for posts taking us to places you had yet to share with the Faraway Files community. Ask and you shall receive. From Botswana to Panama to Qatar, we went far. Keep ’em coming. Let’s fill up that map. These were my favorite posts from last week.
Birgit from Groove is in the Heart shared her experiences in Namibia after the rains down in Africa, an area that is prone to drought. I loved this image of a boy so proud of his haul of bullfrogs. Would you try them?

Courtney from Adelante explores the question about whether you should travel to Israel or not. After a strip search before her flight there, she persists and shares the beautiful sites, colorful people and personal reasons she says yes.

Andrea and Paul from Topsy Turvy Tribe showed us the beauty and uniqueness of Nerja on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Paella on the beach? Yes please! But don’t miss the stunning caves and the world’s biggest stalagmite. I love when there is a little more than just a beach to explore.

And lastely, but not leastly – Annette from Four Acorns offered this charming outing in France. I think this is adorable and lovely – riding pedal cars down a gently sloping measure of historic rail track through the beautiful French countryside. Family fun across generations. Brilliant.

So where to this week? Join in or just read. We’re happy to have you along for the ride!
Cheers from Copenhagen, Erin
FARAWAY FILES TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY LINKUP #21
WANT TO JOIN IN?
We’d love you to join us in building this supportive and growing community who will inspire and share each other’s posts. All three hosts will try to read and comment on every post and we’ll share them on social media too. Each week we’ll choose our favorites and highlight them on our blogs and social media channels using #FarawayFiles.
HOW IT WORKS:
- Link up one travel-related post and add the Faraway Files badge onto the post or your blog (code below) or link back to the hosts.
- The link up will go live every Thursday at 8 am UK time (9 am, CET) until midnight on Friday. It will alternate between Untold Morsels, Suitcases and Sandcastles, and Oregon Girl around the World.
- Link ups work best if everyone shares so please comment on all three of the hosts’ posts and at least two others.
