SHARING TRAVEL STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

Cheers from here travel peeps. If you are in Northern Europe lately where we are, I hope you’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather. While not necessarily swimming at the beach (although some are) temperatures in Scandinavia, the skies have been blue and the sunshine shiny. A few new freckles and load of Vitamin D later, we are soaking it in. As you do up here. We had our version of Spring Break, half term or Easter Break in Denmark last week and it was perfect weather to prioritize some local adventures around Copenhagen and across the bridge to Sweden, a short thirty to forty minutes away.  While I may not be able to see sweet Scandi sister Sweden from my house, there are many places in the city where you can.

Faraway Files has been enjoying the break as well and are ready to read what you been up to on your travels near and far. Lay some links on us. It’s travel link up time today! And tomorrow. Cheers from here.

Thank you to everyone who connected and engaged and linked up last week. Clare from Suitcases and Sandcastles chose these as her favorites – shoutout to the following:

Angie of Changing Pages discovered that you don’t have to be Julia Roberts to sit in some of London’s prettiest garden squares and give you the inside scoop on which ones are open and available to the public.

Old school, new school, bollards, bubbles and wobbly bridges – Catherine of Cultural Wednesday goes deeper into the Bankside neighborhood and shows us there’s more than just the Borough Market.

This week I’m sharing how to explore a bit of Southern Sweden sustainably. Come to Malmö, she said. She did? Yep. She did. Today anyway. Cheers from here.

FARAWAY FILES TRAVEL BLOG COMMUNITY LINKUP #119

WANT TO JOIN IN?

Jump in! The water is fine! Faraway Files is a creative community of travel bloggers who inspire, engage and share each other’s posts. All participating hosts will read and comment on every post that participates in the spirit of the link up. We will also share them on social media too. Each week we’ll choose our favorite posts and highlight them on our blogs and social media channels using #FarawayFiles.

HOW IT WORKS:
  • Link up one travel-related post and add the Faraway Files badge onto the post or your blog (code below) or link back to the hosts.
  • The link-up will go live every Thursday at 8 am UK time (9 am, CET) until midnight on Friday. It will alternate between Fifi + Hop, Hilary Style, Oregon Girl Around the World and Suitcases and Sandcastles. Check Twitter #FarawayFiles to confirm who is hosting each week.
  • Link ups work best if everyone engages so please comment on each of the hosts’ posts and at least two others that take your fancy.
